The BT-7 collar has a Bark Forgiveness Feature that allows your dog to bark for 3 seconds before delivering a static correction - This only occurs after a long period of time where your dog is silent. If your dog continues in a series of barks, the collar will deliver stimulations 0.5 seconds after your dog's bark

The Progressive mode begins with the vibration settings which may allow your dog to bark a few times before the collar reaches a static stimulation that matches their drive. We recommend manually setting the collar to a level that matches their drive to avoid this.
